Welcome to the 2021 Lacrosse Registration with the Prior Lake Athletics for Youth

 

This registration will allow you to provide contact information, sign consents and submit payment.  Please read through each page carefully to ensure that all information is provided accurately.  To complete registration through our secure site, please have your Visa, MasterCard, Discover, or checking account information available.

 

Registration closes on 2/28/21 @ 11:59 PM.

 

Practices Prior to Tryouts

We will be offering Pre-Tryout training sessions for both boys 12U & 14U and girls 10U, 12U and 14U, for additional cost through a separate registration.  There is no pre-tryout training included with this registration.  Please watch for the Pre-Tryout registrations on the PLAY Lacrosse main page. Younger levels including 6U, 8U, 10U boys and 8U girls teams will start in May.

 

Prior to team placement, a practice schedule will be found on the Boys Travel and Girls Travel pages.  Once teams are formed, practices will be listed on the team pages.  Communication about practices and training will be included in the monthly newsletter, as well as on our lacrosse web site.

 

 

Registration Fees & Payment

This year, in an effort to lessen the initial financial burden to our families, we have broken registration into two payments:

  • Payment 1 paid at registration time, regardless of date (fees + half of sports fee + any additional items purchased/rented)
  • Payment 2 will be billed to your credit card on 4/1/21 (half of sports fee)

 

Girls Fees and Splits

The only possible adder to the season fee is to purchase a practice pinnie, which would be paid for in full in the first payment.  Pinnie costs $20.  All players need to have a practice pinnie, but you can use pinnies you’ve had in past years.

 

  • Girls 8U Total Season Fee = $145, Split $97.50/$47.50
  • Girls 10U Total Season Fee = $335, Split $192.50/$142.50
  • Girls 12U Total Season Fee = $375, Split $212.50/$162.50
  • Girls 14U Total Season Fee = $420, Split $235/$185

 

Girls that make the “A” teams in the 10U, 12U and 14U age groups will have an adder of $40.  If you elect to accept your daughter’s “A” team placement, this additional fee would be paid via cash or check after teams are announced.

 

 

 

Boys Fees and Splits

For boys, the payment breakdown is a little less clear because we offer an equipment rental option, the option to purchase a new pair of game shorts, and the option to purchase a practice pinnie. 

 

Below will be the registration fee and breakdown assuming NO equipment rental or short purchase.

 

  • 6U Boys Total Season Fee = $75, Split $62.50/$12.50
  • 8U Boys Total Season Fee = $270, Split $160/$110
  • 10U Boys Total Season Fee = $370, Split $210/$160
  • 12U Boys Total Season Fee = $410, Split $230/$180
  • 14U Boys Total Season Fee = $420, Split $235/$185

 

Boys equipment rental for 8U – 14U will be $100 and is an option within the registration.  Equipment is required, but rental through P.L.A.Y. is optional.  6U boys do not require full equipment.  Equipment includes helmet, chest protector, (2) elbow pads, and (2) gloves.  The player is responsible for providing their own stick, protective cup, and mouth guard.  We will coordinate equipment pick up dates in March.  A deposit check of $250 will be collected at time of rental pickup and will be returned upon equipment return.

 

Boys shorts cost $30.  Boys 8U-14U are required to have game shorts, but can re-use game shorts from past years.  This is an option in the registration.

 

Practice Pinnie costs $20.  Boys 8U-14U are required to have a practice pinnie, but you can use pinnies from past years.  This is an option in the registration.

 

Boys that make the “A” teams in the 12U and 14U age groups will have an adder that is yet to be determined, because we do not yet know what tournament we will be sending our “A” teams to.  For reference, the adder has been $190 for the past several years.  If you elect to accept your son’s “A” team placement, this additional fee would be paid via cash or check after teams are announced.

 

 

Age Group

6U = birthdays 9/1/14 & Younger

8U = 9/1/12 - 8/31/14

10U = 9/1/10-8/31/12

12U = 9/1/08 - 8/31/10

14U = 9/1/06 - 8/31/08 or enrolled as an 8th grader for the 2020-2021 school year.

P.L.A.Y. Eligibility Requirements- **IMPORTANT**

THIS REGISTRATION AND P.L.A.Y. LACROSSE ARE ONLY AVAILABLE TO RESIDENTS WITHIN SCHOOL DISTRICT 719 or THOSE THAT ATTEND A SCHOOL WITHIN THE DISTRICT.  Your Registration will be reviewed prior to the season and anyone not meeting this criteria will have their registration voided. There will not be a full refund.

US Lacrosse Requirement

You must register first with US Lacrosse and then return to this Registration Session to signup.  If you have not already signed up with US Lacrosse, please follow these steps:

  • Step 1:  Obtain current US Lacrosse Membership
    • IF YOU DO NOT HAVE A CURRENT US LACROSSE MEMBERSHIP:  Visit https: //www.uslacrosse.org/ and select "Join" to register your player(s). Be sure to PRINT and SAVE their confirmation code(s). Remember to register EACH of your players with US Lacrosse. Each player must have their own unique US Lacrosse confirmation number.
    • TO LOOK UP/RENEW A US LACROSSE MEMBERSHIP:  Visit https: //www.uslacrosse.org/ and select "Log In" for the Member Number lookup option.
  • Step 2:  Return to this registration and proceed. Later in this registration session you will need to enter the US Lacrosse Confirmation Code that you received in Step 1.
